Insomniac’s Spider-Man 2 will be getting whole new suits based on Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls and the upcoming MCU film Spider-Man: Brand New Day, making your web-swinging experience feel closer to the aesthetics of the game and the new film. The Brand New Day suit resembles the classic Spider-Man suit in many ways including a vibrant red-n-blue color scheme while putting some new variations in detail, geared for the latest big-screen incarnation of the iconic webslinger.
The Brand New Day suit blends more seamlessly with the game while the Tokon suit is more of an unexpected surprise with it’s cartoonish art style and animated textures, making the overall experience feel more like watching a Saturday morning Spider-Man cartoon. But both suits offer plenty of value while being totally free of cost and if you’re wondering, no you don’t need to pre-order Tokon to get it.
Alongside the new suits, the latest update for the game also brings several PS5 Pro improvements including Enhanced PSSR and Power Saver mode, yielding much better image quality along with more efficient power usage of the console.
The upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set to be a treat for all Spidey fans as the film focuses on the iconic protagonist from a perspective that we haven’t seen before in the big screen while also bringing familiar and fan favorite characters like the Hulk and the Punisher who will definitely make everything even more enjoyable and imbue the film with great re-watch value.
