HyperX announced a couple exciting things, including DuoCast, the latest in their USB microphone line up, along with a new colorways for existing microphones and an update to their extremely popular SoloCast.
As the name suggests, DuoCast is designed to be a halfway point between the SoloCast and QuadCast, featuring both cardioid and omnidirectional polar patterns. Along with that, it has a low-profile shock mount, tap-to-mute functionality, LED indicator light and an RGB ring that can be customized via NGENUITY. It’s also designed to work with PC, Mac and PlayStation devices, with professionals and aspiring streamers in mind. This will be a Target exclusive for a limited time and will cost $99.99.
Speaking of SoloCast and QuadCast, both microphones now come in a stunning white colorway. Both microphones retain the same MSRP of $59.99 and $159.99 respectively, with the QuadCast in white being limited to the QuadCast S model with RGB lights, instead of the original red.
Along with the color announcement, HyperX is also updating all SoloCast microphones to have Hi-Res 24-Bit depth and up to 96kHz sampling rate for higher quality and more accurate captures. This range will also launch on DuoCast, so there is no need to pick and choose.
