Sony censorship is going wild, as they are trying to silence people who aren’t happy with the physical media announcements. This is a very terrible thing and if we don’t bring awareness to it they might actually get away with it and revoke your rights to own stuff. We have to remember that they have recently taken a ton of movies people bought on PS5 and didn’t refund anything to the parties that were affected. Sony does not care about you, and anyone who tries to spin this as some sort of console war material is out of their minds, every company is evil right now.

A French PS5 user has been banned from official Playstation France streams, and this might end up being the drop that causes the Streissand effect that we need to curb Sony. There is a lot of work to do and we have to let them know that we don’t want to live in a world where we don’t own things. Playstation used to be a brand that commanded respect back then, but now they are pretty much yet another villain alongside Xbox and Nintendo, Nintendo seemingly being the most benevolent one cause it at least has games to play.
We live in a very bad timeline for people who want to own consoles, even Nintendo is trying to expand its digital reach by making game key cards. While Key Cards can be shared between people, they are still a form of DRM that might trigger in a not so distant future and affect us negatively. Sony and Xbox already perfected this, and it seems that we will be facing an all digital future if we don’t protest enough. Considering how the industry is a layoff bloodbath right now, best we can do is to stop buying anything related to it for some months.
