Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis is a game I didn’t expect to be using these parlor tricks under the hood, but unfortunately the studios behind it have succumbed to the “AI” brainrot. It is clear that this is one of Amazon’s attempt at trying to push the technology because they realize there is no way the fad sticks. Everyone is cracking open their IPO numbers to see what happens, and from the factual data we can see that this is a bust rather than a boom. People already said this when the whole thing started some years ago, some of us considered crazy, but a ton of people are starting to see the truth.
Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis is slop
Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis will be releasing next year but there is no real reason to put your money in it, the cost is based on the efforts put into producing these games, but when there is no real effort then there’s no reason to even pirate them either. It is also very funny that a game that is using stolen assets is literally being safe guarded by Denuvo, there’s no reason to actually bother with a game like this considering all of the aforementioned issues.
There’s better stuff to save your money for in the year 2027, Mega Man is making a comeback, and indie games inspired by it are releasing their sequels to capitalize on it. Gravity Circuit 2 will be coming in 2027 too, and it shows that indie developers are way more passionate than whatever triple A developer remains in the space. Some people had faith in these companies, but they are being handled by a circus crew rather than a group of rational adults. Not like we miss anything, the best Tomb Raider games are on the PS1.
