Following a strong start to 2026—which saw the debut of Pikachu, Eevee, and the massive Kanto starter evolution trio—this new wave focuses on smaller, battle-ready environments. The leaked information suggests a heavy emphasis on built-in features that allow fans to stage battles and interact with the brick-built pocket monsters.
According to retail information shared by The Brick News on X, the upcoming wave spans a wide variety of piece counts and price points. The largest offering in the leak is the Umbreon Vs. Garchomp Championship Battle, which packs 831 pieces, while the smallest is a compact, 88-piece Jigglypuff Concert. Other notable sets include Training House with Pikachu (400 pieces), Mewtwo’s Lab Break (605 pieces), and Eevee and Lapras’s Treasure Hunt (623 pieces).
Crucially, this wave marks the first time the base forms of the iconic Kanto starters will appear in the official LEGO catalog. Fans can look forward to Berry Bash with Bulbasaur and Bidoof, Trainer’s Buggy Adventure with Squirtle, and Charmander and Geodude’s Cavern Clash. Aside from a few fan-favorites like Generation IV’s Garchomp and Bidoof, the lineup leans incredibly hard into Generation I nostalgia, leaving fans of later generations waiting for future updates.
These 11 Smart Play products represent only a portion of what is expected from the partnership this summer. Previous leaks have already pointed toward standalone releases like Arcanine, Munchlax, a brick-built Poké Ball packaged with minifigures, and a highly anticipated Rayquaza set featuring a Zinnia minifigure. With the Pokémon franchise celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, these leaked sets indicate that both companies are heavily investing in the crossover for the long haul.
