Embark Studios has deployed Update 1.30.0 for ARC Raiders, introducing structural changes to the game’s economy alongside a newly solidified live-service release schedule. The patch alters how players interact with the recently introduced Expedition Vault mechanics, standardizing costs to foster a more active in-game market.
The most significant adjustment addresses the price structure of the Expedition Vault at Ermal’s trading spot. Previously, upgrading the vault required an escalating investment, starting at 200,000 Credits for the first tier and climbing to 1,000,000 Credits for the final tier. Following the patch, all five tiers have been flat-capped at a uniform cost of 200,000 Credits. According to the development team, this reduction aims to encourage more frequent trading and lower the barrier for safeguarding valuable equipment during extraction phases.
Alongside the economic rebalancing, the update refreshes Ermal’s inventory with a new selection of weekly items. Highlighting the rotation is the highly sought-after Wolfpack blueprint, available for 500,000 High-Tier ARC Parts plus firearms. Other notable additions include the Chap Outfit, the Soda Can backpack charm, and a selection of unique cosmetic items like the Magnetic Accelerator, which requires a combination of rare duck collectibles to acquire. Owners of the Leviathan cosmetic set will also find two new color variants, Midnight and Crimson Frost, automatically added to their inventory.
Looking ahead, Embark Studios confirmed that major live-service patches will now follow a strict three-week release cadence. While larger updates are bound to this fixed schedule, the studio noted that hotfixes and smaller technical adjustments will continue to roll out independently as needed. This systematic approach comes as developers actively investigate performance issues tied to the previous 1.29.0 patch, specifically focusing on console stability and frame-rate drops on PC.
