Fallen Aces just got a new trailer for the release of its second episode, Shadow of Death, the story thickens and the plot becomes more complex as things keep going. For those who haven’t heard about Fallen Aces, it is a PC first person shooter published by New Blood Interactive, so it pretty much has a seal of approval already. This are the same people who published games like Ultrakill, so make sure you like Ultrakill if you are willing to try this one. Even if it is radically different, the violence and gore is top notch in this new entry published by New Blood.

The aesthetic of the game is insane, making graphics like this is way harder and better looking that the hyper realist schlock companies tend to push out to get new people into games. Flexing technology with realism has always been something pretty silly, and yet we are still chasing something nobody cares about. Fallen Aces is the game people should be supporting instead of the new God of War, or whatever derivative product the bigger companies wish to push unto us. This is the true art of games, an indie group making what they love the most with passion.
The game still remains in early access, and its also going for a nice discount of 25% due to the release of the new episode. Make sure that you get the game now because that means you will help the developers in the future by showing that you have interest on what they offer. It is a great game, and fans of the genre will end up loving it, I missed stylized games like this one and I think that they always triumph against whatever photorealistic mess the bigger companies in the industry pump out.
