CheatCheat is a new cooperative game made by an indie developer on PC, and it seems to be quite the promising concept. You and your friends will have to cheat on a seemingly impossible exam and you don’t have to get caught while doing so. The teaser trailer showcases some gameplay of it and so far it looks like quite the cool cooperative game to play. Ideas keep getting out of hand when it comes to indie developers, and they always surprise us with things they do, as always we can see that the reason gaming lives is thanks to them.
CheatCheat looks fun
There’s a ton of cooperative games in the market right now, most of them being made by indie developers who try to get into game making by riding this huge wave. Some people are new to the trend and game making in general, while others seem to have experience in their belts and decided to put it in good use. Still, I can’t help but feel like the genre is getting pretty saturated, so maybe it will take a while for things to cool down and people to realize maybe there’s a ton of things to play and settle for just a few of them, maybe including CheatCheat.
CheatCheat is yet another option to pick from, and provided it gives tons of hours of fun it might end up being successful thanks to the crazy concept alone. Some people might believe that video games are a medium that has been solved, but there’s still tons of ideas that need to be experimented with, tons of concepts to explore. Indie developers are those who try to push the boundaries and find crazy ideas that might not conform to standards, and that’s the reason they are so much better compared to many triple A studios of today.
