Terraria is celebrating its 15th anniversary, its been a while since we have had the privilege to play this game, a very long while in fact. Many games or even game series would love to be able to reach such a milestone, cause going 15 years strong shows that there is a future for more. Along with this celebration happening, there’s also some announcements that some people might be interested in. For starters, being almost two decades out in the market shows that there is still tons of life in Terraria, so a collectors edition is being planned to the surprise of many.

Terraria is old but gold

One can never go wrong with buying Terraria, as the core experience and multiplayer are amazing, not to mention the fact that there is a ton of content that has been accumulating for years of development. It was an impressive journey to see this game grow so big, a true labor of love when you think about it. Not many games get updated constantly, especially for free, yet here we are with the constant effort from Re-Logic showing that there is still a ton of life in this old game. Tons of memories coming from many players are what keeps holding things together too.

There will also be a retrospective that will speak more about the insights on what went behind the development of Terraria, so people who are interested in game development might want to check that out. So if you wanna sign up for that, you can do so here, this will support the collaboration between Lost in Cult and Terraria showcasing never before seen things about the journey to make the dream become real. I believe that we should still fight, we should still craft and even build bases despite the game being old, but a very important thing is cherishing memories with the community too.

Playground Games Confirms 15-to-20 Hour Campaign for Fable Reboot Playground Games has confirmed that the upcoming Fable reboot will feature a mainline story lasting between 15 and 20 hours. Speaking during a group press session at Gamescom 2026, associate game director Will Kennedy outlined the scope of the project, stating that the central questline is paired with a similar 15-to-20-hour block of side quests and open-world exploration. Beyond authored content, the developers emphasized that the title’s simulation and life systems allow for indefinite play depending on player investment. Full coverage of the interview context can be found in Polygon’s developer Q&A. This targeted duration keeps the reboot in line with the structure of Lionhead Studios' original trilogy rather than the massive scale of modern role-playing games. The 2004 original averaged roughly 12.5 hours for its main path, while Fable II and Fable III clocked in at approximately 13 and 13.5 hours respectively. By keeping the core path concise, Playground Games appears focused on density and narrative pacing rather than padding out the experience with mandatory filler. Community reception to the announcement has leaned positive, particularly among veteran players who prefer tightly structured campaigns over 100-hour commitments. As discussed in a active Reddit community thread, many players welcomed the focused runtime, noting that the series' signature alignment shifts and choice-driven paths naturally encourage multiple playthroughs. The game’s optional activities will include property ownership, local employment, and dynamic NPC interactions, extending gameplay well past the main story credits. Following previous delays, Fable is scheduled to launch on February 23, 2027, for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
