Mazebound is a tough experience to deal with, but when you join with many players in this PC game it might become more bearable. It is said that strength comes with unity, however I’m not entirely sure if this will apply considering you will have to face horrifying monsters in a maze structure. The main plan is to survive and escape the maze, but it will be a very hard task to accomplish and not all of you might be able to get out. First of all I feel like they really nailed the oppressive atmosphere for the place, this game has potential to be as scary as many classics like Slenderman.
Mazebound is out
And it currently sits at a 20% discount for release, making it the best time to get the game if you wanna show support to the developer. Game making is tough, and this one is an indie game for real, it does not have any publisher behind it moving the strings. There’s also a demo for those who want to play it, although it will be an older build of the game that can vary for the current release so be aware of that. Perhaps you should grab some friends and dive into the challenges Mazebound has to offer.
Mazebound really seems to understand the kind of game it is, and this is the second game coming from the hands of the developer, Werewolf Party being another one they released in 2025. I have a feeling they will keep focusing in cooperative horror games until the trend changes, but until then I hope they can put some quality in the table as an indie studio. If you happened to not like the games, they are thankfully rather cheap, and you can also do refunds on Steam provided you didn’t wait for too much.
