MindsEye Studio hit with even more massive layoffs in 2026

MindsEye

MindsEye was a huge mess, and the controversy surrounding this PC game was impressive too, bad news for the studio have arrived however, as another round of layoffs have taken place, causing confusion since a plan to make the game good surfaced. There was a DLC recently, but it seems that a ton of people involved with the game won’t be coming back to the studio anymore thanks to these layoffs. The CEO behind the company is insane, and cutting so many people will only cause the studio to collapse. Honestly? Aside from losing the job, if the CEO is forced to face consequences then I see that as a win.

MindsEye Studio is terrible

Many workers have even claimed that privacy violations were commonplace, not to mention that abuse of power also seemed to be at play if you took into consideration all things that happened. Even the CEO himself has this persecution of his own employees leaking information and ruining the game, but as always a CEO never really does anything at all for the company rather than being a nice seat warmer. Its crazy how things unfolded, and its also crazy how terrible things got for the game and everyone involved.

To this day, the CEO of MindsEye is blaming us, gamers, for the downfall of the game despite the game kinda falling apart by itself. There’s no salvation for MindsEye, especially if they keep cutting the work force that should be making the game and getting a good salary instead of being in the street. Whatever was the ambition of the company, it seems that it won’t be materializing anytime soon cause time is up for MindsEye if you ask me. It was a project with tons of potential coming from a relatively small studio, yet nothing ever surfaced from this aside from a dumpster fire.
