Everstone Studio has officially deployed Version 1.6 for Where Winds Meet, marking the beginning of Season 3, titled “Seek Within.” This major content drop concludes the Hexi expansion arc by introducing the Qinchuan region, a new landscape defined by its distinct verticality and aesthetic focus on the intersection of mountains and clouds. To enter this new territory, players must have reached level 14 and finished the “Dasan Pass” campaign within the Liangzhou storyline.
The update introduces a significant shift in character progression by raising the level cap to 95. This power creep extends to equipment and skills, with the Breakthrough cap moving to level 14 Clarity and gear tiers reaching a new ceiling of 91. To support this growth, the developers have added Tier 86 Arsenal items and the “Idle Wind” Mystic Skill, which grants players the ability to transform into gusts of wind for faster traversal across Qinchuan’s rugged terrain.
High-level players now have access to several new endgame challenges designed for group play. The update features the Snowplum Requiem world boss, a combat encounter against a pair of sibling musicians who utilize melodic attacks. Furthermore, two new multiplayer campaigns have been added: the five-player Serpent’s Fang trial and the larger ten-player Bloodstained Sands challenge. Both activities require players to be at least level 91, providing a immediate goal for those working through the new level brackets.
Coinciding with the seasonal launch is the game’s first half-anniversary celebration, which runs through June 24. During this period, NetEase is offering a commemorative outfit and 15 recruitment draws for participants. The Echo Draw gacha system has also been updated with the “Rhythmic Echo” set, which has been added to the permanent banner. With Season 3 scheduled to run until July 23, the current focus for the community shifts toward efficient EXP farming to meet the requirements for the new high-tier trials.
