Microsoft is doing something that threatens the safety of any PC gamer, that’s right, they have patented a system that will display ads during your gaming sessions. This is, of course, something terrible and that is quite reminiscent to mobile gaming, it is insane that we are seeing them do this but they are very desperate for remaining relevant in the PC space. Hopefully they crash and burn, because all of the things they have done, most specifically dabbling with AI, has been a violation of our rights as a customer. They deserve everything bad that could happen to them really.
Microsoft keeps sucking
And there really is no reason to go back to systems that are made by them because Linux can run basically every game. As a matter of fact, Linux can currently run the 365 Work Suite that Microsoft provides with some small trickery. It is insane how far Linux is displacing Microsoft when it comes to ease of use and features, yet people don’t seem to be too interested on doing the switch despite all the benefits of doing so. Honestly, it is clear that the reason Microsoft is popular is because Windows comes pre-installed on PCs, not because its good.
Hopefully we can see times of change, practically everyone uses Linux provided they are using an Android phone, the backbone of societies systems are practically built on Linux servers. The fact that such critical things are handled by Linux means that something like gaming can easily be solved by the same system too. Games actually run faster when you run them on Linux compared to any of Microsoft’s latest offerings, it is insane because Xbox is supposed to be a console making division they have. Alas, it is clear that they are desperate for money and data.
