This Thursday, Rockstar Games unveiled GTA 6: The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection Collector’s Edition, which is a highly expensive and luxury edition of the upcoming title geared towards the ultra enthusiasts, except it has one caveat, it comes without the game which has to be bought separately. Available (in limited quantities only and restricted to one order per person) for pre-ordering right now, the exotic Collector’s Edition of GTA 6 comes with the following goodies and some of them are indeed quite expensive when buying separately:

However, fans aren’t particularly thrilled with the super expensive Collector’s Edition of GTA 6 and in fact, some of the comments say that many are likely to pass on this specific version of the game entirely. One fan said on X/Twitter: “I hate to say it, but I think I’m gonna pass on the collector’s edition, $400 is just insane and it doesn’t even come with a steelbook copy of the game. I’d rather save my money and buy some individual merch items that look cool rather than some overpriced sunglasses.”
And according to another fan: “If this was 2016, they’d have an Ultimate Edition for $129.99 that includes the game, the coke mirror, the snuff spoon, the razor keychain and a map, but we live in 2026 SuperHell.”
Aside from the ultra-expensive version, the Standard edition of GTA 6 will cost $80 while the Ultimate edition comes with a price tag of $100 which also includes a whole array of unlockables ranging from bonus story missions to in-game items, equipment and additional customization. And while the prices are certainly steep for a videogame but when you consider the colossal production value of GTA 6, they do start to feel pretty reasonable.
GTA 6 is slated to launch for Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19 with pre-orders going on right now.
