Dawngazer is looking quite great, and its also coming to PC, this new game is spearheaded by the company of the director behind Unicorn Overlord, so we can already assume it will be amazing. A trailer was released showcasing the art alongside some very cool original soundtrack. This will be an action RPG, and considering the style, I feel like it will be quite the unique one to cut the boredom produced by pretty much any other Action RPG in the market that is just a 3D button masher like Final Fantasy 16. Hopefully the development of this one sails smooth.
Dawngazer looks awesome
Vanillaware was always a team of artists, so it makes sense that the game still looks similar despite coming from this new studio, Ignisphere. Considering the director of Unicorn Overlord is involved it also makes sense he would call a chunk of the staff that made the games look like Dawngazer looks now. We really don’t know much aside from the fact that the trailer exists and it will be an action RPG game, but whatever information ends up popping in the future I will try to do my best and report it. I wish I can review this one someday.
Dawngazer, at the very least, looks super, but there seems to be a lack of certain, let’s say assets that were an important part of the art style in Vanillaware. Hopefully some characters in the future start looking better because that would disappoint the fans. At the same time, I’m not opposed to the change either, the artist should be doing whatever they want as it is their vision. Regardless, the story is what matters the most to me in these games, and hopefully Dawngazer provides something as memorable as what Unicorn Overlord gave us back then.
