PC Gaming in Japan is wild right now, if you were meaning to check the stats out then you would be surprised by the numbers that the land of rising sun is moving. When you know a little bit of gaming history, you will realize that this is insane because there barely is any sort of interest in PC due to the costs over there, yet we have seen people jump into PC gaming right now at a massive rate. I never really expected I would see the day where this happens, alas, it seems that everything comes to an end and now Nintendo is the only survivor out of all of this.

Leaving the silly pun on the second header aside, I have a feeling that this might spell the end for the console with no games, that being the PS5. Considering all the blunders, I would love to see both Sony and Microsoft get in big trouble thanks to all the damage they have caused to the console market. Nintendo, however, deserves to be on top for a while to ensure that console gaming as a whole keeps existing as a medium of expression.
Alas, I’m not even sure how long console gaming will last if things keep going the way they do, the AI crisis has really caused and still causes shortage in semi conductors. Not only does this affect the console market, making things way more expensive, but it also affects things like the PC gaming market itself. Japan already has an issue with massive prices and increased costs when it comes to getting PC components. Yet, the fact that there was a huge growth in the PC gaming market over there shows that they have gotten over their stigma.
