If you’ve missed out on some of the items and accessories from Battlefield 6’s Battle pass including weapon skins, blueprints, operator outfits, emblems and more, you’ll be able to get them from the in-game store sometimes in the near future, although you need to purchase them to add those items to your inventory. Developer Battlefield Studios has just revealed a drastic change to the Battle pass mechanics in the game which allows players to buy all of the items from the store, albeit for additional cost.
“We’ve heard from players who want more opportunities to earn or own cosmetics they may have missed, while also keeping each season exciting to participate in as it happens. With that in mind, starting in Season 4, we’ll begin bringing back select items from previous Battle Passes as in-game store items and bundles.”
However, you’ll need to wait at least three months after the expiration of the Battle pass before you can see all of it’s contents in the store, which adds more value to the Battle pass system of the game. Although, not every single piece of content will be added, as the devs have stated:
“Not all Battle Pass content will return: Battle Pass Instant Unlocks, BF Pro Instant Unlocks, and items from the Ultimate and Prestige Paths will remain exclusive to their original season and won’t be made available again. Please note that the exact timing, availability, and selection of returning items may change over time and are not guaranteed.”
The month of July will also see the Season 4 of Battlefield 6 kick off which will feature naval warfare, whole new maps and the addition of one of the highly requested features from the community in the form of Proximity Chat.
There will be two new maps titled Tsuru Reef (a map set within a massive oceanfront space, surrounded by island terrain, beaches and lots of open water) and Wake Island which is a highly tweaked and reworked version of the Battlefield 5 map. Plus, there will also be drivable boats so you can experience all the action and chaos in Battlefield 6’s naval warfare with breakneck intensity.
