To celebrate the upcoming MCU film Spider-Man: Brand New Day, there will be a new free suit for all players in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, developer Insomniac Games has announced. The new suit featured in the new film resembles the classic Spider-Man suit in many ways including a vibrant red-n-blue color scheme while putting some new variations in detail, suited for the latest incarnation of the iconic webslinger. So if you love playing Spider-Man 2 which is currently the best title featuring the Marvel character, you’ll definitely enjoy swinging through New York city in the movie-inspired new costume which should look just as amazing on Insomniac’s version of the character.

The suit will be available in-game via update July 28 on PS5 and PC at no additional cost!”
And although the free new suit based on the hotly anticipated film is greatly appreciated, it would’ve been even better if the devs had decided to release some patches for the PC version of Spider-Man 2 cause even after a total of seven post-launch updates, the game still suffers from performance issues and technical inconsistencies, resulting in low FPS’ even in sufficiently powerful GPUs.
The upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set to be a treat for all Spidey fans as the film focuses on the iconic protagonist from a perspective that we haven’t seen before in the big screen while also bringing familiar and fan favorite characters like the Hulk and the Punisher who will definitely make everything even more enjoyable and imbue the film with great re-watch value. Spider-Man: Brand New Day is swinging into theaters on July 31 and also has it’s second full-length trailer out now which showcases a new side of Spider-Man, also granting a huge boost in his overall power level.
