Guild Wars 3

Guild Wars 3 is coming soon in 2027 with a Beta Test session, what was showcased in the trailer is awesome flexing the graphics the new game will bring to us. We have to remember that Guild Wars was one of the first popular MMOs on PC of the modern 2000 era, and it also happened to be an amazing alternative if you didn’t get access to World of Warcraft, or a subscription was costly. There is a ton of things to do in these games, friendships to make, and places to explore too, and I’m hyped to see what this new entry has to offer in all of these aspects.

Guild Wars 3 is coming soon

If you wanna jump in, probably for free, a beta test will happen in 2027 and this will be the best moment to jump into the game. I’m not too familiar with the lore of the series, but it does feel like it will welcome new players into the game for those who want to enjoy something new. NCSoft used to be involved with the series, but now ArenaNet is the one taking the control as a publisher and as a developer making it a new era for MMOs.

Guild Wars 3 is set to be the evolution of the MMO genre, this is a very bold claim considering things have been set in stone for a while now, but considering the history behind the development of Guild Wars I have a feeling that might be the case. Guild Wars always brought with it some interesting innovations that other games of the genre ended up applying, and hopefully Guild Wars 3 does the same while also adapting to the new gaming paradigm set by Stop Killing Games. Since it will release in around 2027, they need to stick to the law.

Playground Games Confirms 15-to-20 Hour Campaign for Fable Reboot Playground Games has confirmed that the upcoming Fable reboot will feature a mainline story lasting between 15 and 20 hours. Speaking during a group press session at Gamescom 2026, associate game director Will Kennedy outlined the scope of the project, stating that the central questline is paired with a similar 15-to-20-hour block of side quests and open-world exploration. Beyond authored content, the developers emphasized that the title’s simulation and life systems allow for indefinite play depending on player investment. Full coverage of the interview context can be found in Polygon’s developer Q&A. This targeted duration keeps the reboot in line with the structure of Lionhead Studios' original trilogy rather than the massive scale of modern role-playing games. The 2004 original averaged roughly 12.5 hours for its main path, while Fable II and Fable III clocked in at approximately 13 and 13.5 hours respectively. By keeping the core path concise, Playground Games appears focused on density and narrative pacing rather than padding out the experience with mandatory filler. Community reception to the announcement has leaned positive, particularly among veteran players who prefer tightly structured campaigns over 100-hour commitments. As discussed in a active Reddit community thread, many players welcomed the focused runtime, noting that the series' signature alignment shifts and choice-driven paths naturally encourage multiple playthroughs. The game’s optional activities will include property ownership, local employment, and dynamic NPC interactions, extending gameplay well past the main story credits. Following previous delays, Fable is scheduled to launch on February 23, 2027, for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
