Xbox Game Pass 'Coming Soon' Section Hints at Major Showcase Lineup

Seven highly anticipated titles have prematurely appeared on Xbox’s “Coming Soon to Game Pass” section, giving fans an early glimpse into what Microsoft likely plans to feature at its upcoming summer presentation. This unexpected update comes ahead of the scheduled Xbox Games Showcase on June 7, 2026, where official details regarding the platform’s upcoming slate have otherwise been kept strictly under wraps.

The console dashboard list introduces a mix of heavy hitters and indie titles, all currently tagged with a broad 2026 release window. Among the most notable inclusions is Playground Games’ highly anticipated Fable reboot, a project that has remained one of Xbox’s most mysterious first-party endeavors since its announcement. Joining it is InXile Entertainment’s steampunk RPG Clockwork Revolution, which appears poised for a major gameplay breakdown next month.

Strategy and narrative fans also have plenty to look forward to, as Tropico 7 and Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy made surprise appearances on the list. The inclusion of the latter suggests a continuation or spin-off of Focus Entertainment’s critically acclaimed franchise. Rounding out the leaked selections are the magical school simulator Witchbrook, the tactical project Armatus, and an unannounced title titled There Are No Ghosts at the Grand.

While Microsoft traditionally utilizes the “Coming Soon” tab for titles launching within a definitive window, the company has historically been flexible with its timeline definitions. However, the synchronized appearance of these seven games strongly indicates that Microsoft is preparing a coordinated marketing push. Prior to this leak, the company had only confirmed that Gears of War: E-Day would headline the June event with a dedicated post-showcase deep dive.

For subscribers, this leak reinforces Microsoft’s continued strategy of securing day-one releases to maintain the value proposition of its subscription service. If these listings hold true, the June 7 presentation will transition from a speculative event into a concrete roadmap for the remainder of 2026. Microsoft has not yet issued a formal statement regarding the early dashboard listings.
