Xbox and Kojima team up to deliver something new, and while we don’t know much about it just yet aside from a screen with the name, project Physint might be the craziest game to ever exist. This is huge news because Kojima has always been partnered with Sony, so this comes as a surprise because not only did he go to a platform that isn’t popular in Japan, but he also treasoned the PlayStation brand that he always used to release games in. Although, considering the company has been getting worse as years go by, changing teams seems like the right choice.
Xbox and Kojima team up
This is unexpected, since it is known that the Microsoft’s offerings in Japan were never successful, since the first release of an Xbox as a console it never managed to make a dent in sales compared to Japanese alternatives. Xbox was and still remains a failure after all of these years in the Japanese side of things, because Nintendo is more favored and Sony already took a ton of control over the general populace too with their great games and offerings. Whatever project Physint ends up being, it must be a console seller because Kojima does games like that.
As always, whenever Kojima makes a game, things get very experimental, and this team up between Xbox and Kojima might be one of the weirdest ones yet. Nothing like that has happened in the industry before, which is something insane considering things seem quite solved nowadays when it comes to games and the people who publish them. Hopefully, project Physint ends up being an amazing game that surprises many, to the point it becomes a generational milestone because we really are in need of one. No further details about the game have been revealed just yet.
