Life Below is quite the interesting PC game, and it recently got a launch trailer to show that its already out. If you are looking for a city builder with an interesting premise and imaginative design I feel like this game might suit your needs. As always, indie games keep providing the most imaginative settings when you compare them with the offerings that triple A studios bring to the table. Triple A games often seem to focus more on realism and eye candy instead of bringing anything fun, its always sad to see such a huge budget wasted on something nobody asked for.
Life Below is out
The game is out, and if you are curious you can also give the demo a spin, this is a complete game that isn’t tied to early access, so you can rest assured that your money is going into something that plays to the end. So far its doing quite well, reviews are 100% positive but they only have a total of twelve. I would be neat if more people decided to jump into this game considering the studio has shown that they care about making good titles in the past.
Life Below is a city builder set into the depths of the sea, and we don’t command humans, but we do command creatures of the sea that aim to revive coral reefs and make them into livable environments. There’s also a focus on narrative, written by Rhianna Pratchett, who does have a ton of experience in the medium as a writer. If you want to cut back a bit with triple A purchases and look at a different side to gaming, I can highly recommend to get your hands on Life Below, its been a while since something like this popped up in any side of the industry.
