Grand Theft Auto 6, also known as GTA 6, might be one of the most awaited games of all time, it might probably generate even more money than expected if things go as they should. However, Take-Two CEO claims that the expectations coming from people are “terrifying”, which leads us to think that there might be something the company isn’t telling us about it. Perhaps the real reason the CEO is terrified is because he does not expect things to sail smoothly considering the rumors behind the price of the game. Some believe it will be obvious that the game will cost $99.99.
GTA 6 might be crazy
There has been some discussion and answers from Rockstar regarding the pricing of the game, but when you analyze them they are pretty much a nothing burger that only tells us the baseline will be $80 as modern games do it nowadays. This is actually very scary because it shapes up into the theory that the game might end up going for $99.99 or even more since we still don’t have a clear answer after all these months of wait. The cost of development for GTA 6 is theorized to be massive, and it is said that it might be the most expensive game of all time from development costs alone.
We still don’t know as many details are shrouded in mystery, however we do know that GTA Online has managed to make at least 1 million dollars per day for the mega company who is currently swimming in pools of cash. So it is clear the amount of money spent on making this new entry in the GTA series will be chump change when you realize what they earn. Perhaps the price of the game will remain as the current baseline, if they ask more for GTA 6 then they will definitely be greedy.
