American Truck Simulator

American Truck Simulator finally got its Illinois DLC after a long time of wait, this time the trucking fans will be able to enjoy something new while exploring the popular state. As always, the team behind American Truck Simulator always focuses on bringing realism, since its a very important element the franchise wants to keep exploring considering these are simulator games after all. The main way they do this, is by visiting each state and trying to make their best effort on replicating what they see in 3D modelling software, and honestly the job they put out is simply majestic to behold.

American Truck Simulator’s new DLC

Illinois is big, and has a ton of farm land and cities to explore, you can get a bit of a teaser for it if you look at the trailer, the game keeps getting bigger and perhaps someday we will see how every single state from the USA gets represented with lots of care to fully complete the experience. I do wonder if all of them are connected together, and how the map tries to work to process such a huge world, trucks move quite slow so maybe the trick is hidden in that fact. American Truck Simulator has been going for some years now, and people keep buying the DLCs.

Making a game with a good foundation is essential to make more DLCs for it, that way people are more inclined to keep playing them and buying them, and it will always be cheaper than getting a sequel that many might not jump into. As reviled DLCs can be, sometimes they are very useful in the case of Fighting Games, because back then you just had to buy the game again if you wanted 1 or 2 new characters, which was insane. Regardless, American Truck Simulator keeps being awesome.

Playground Games Confirms 15-to-20 Hour Campaign for Fable Reboot Playground Games has confirmed that the upcoming Fable reboot will feature a mainline story lasting between 15 and 20 hours. Speaking during a group press session at Gamescom 2026, associate game director Will Kennedy outlined the scope of the project, stating that the central questline is paired with a similar 15-to-20-hour block of side quests and open-world exploration. Beyond authored content, the developers emphasized that the title’s simulation and life systems allow for indefinite play depending on player investment. Full coverage of the interview context can be found in Polygon’s developer Q&A. This targeted duration keeps the reboot in line with the structure of Lionhead Studios' original trilogy rather than the massive scale of modern role-playing games. The 2004 original averaged roughly 12.5 hours for its main path, while Fable II and Fable III clocked in at approximately 13 and 13.5 hours respectively. By keeping the core path concise, Playground Games appears focused on density and narrative pacing rather than padding out the experience with mandatory filler. Community reception to the announcement has leaned positive, particularly among veteran players who prefer tightly structured campaigns over 100-hour commitments. As discussed in a active Reddit community thread, many players welcomed the focused runtime, noting that the series' signature alignment shifts and choice-driven paths naturally encourage multiple playthroughs. The game’s optional activities will include property ownership, local employment, and dynamic NPC interactions, extending gameplay well past the main story credits. Following previous delays, Fable is scheduled to launch on February 23, 2027, for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
