It appears the Nintendo Switch 2 is still doing very well over in the UK because many Nintendo exclusives are at the top of the charts. The number one game last week ended up being a Nintendo Switch 2 launch title.
For the week ending January 31st, 2026, the best-selling game in the UK was Mario Kart World. The kart-racing game managed to beat out Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which recently came out for its Nintendo Switch 2 version.
Sadly, it looks like Code Vein II didn’t manage to set the charts on fire as it only debuted in the number nine position. Final Fantasy VII Intergrade dropped to number 17 on the charts after debuting at number two the week prior.
