Humble Choice new game lineup revealed for January 2026

Humble Choice

Humble Choice is back with some great PC games to pick from, if you are a fan of the 3D Sonic series this is the best chance you have to get your hands on a very discounted copy of Sonic Frontiers alongside other games like Etrian Odyssey, it seems that Atlus and Sega decided to team up for this opportunity. Etrian Odyssey is an excellent dungeon crawler party RPG like the old ones from the past but with some very neat implementations to older ideas such as mapping. Back in the day when it released on the Nintendo DS, the idea of letting players draw the map on the touch screen was huge.

Humble Choice packs an adventure this January

Sonic Frontiers is lauded as a pretty good title in the Sonic series, and it even got some spots and nominations for previous game awards, personally I’m not too big of a fan of it but it might be the cup of tea for big fans of the series. There’s a ton of other games you can have too, such as the Metal Slug series and Tomb Raider series, this Humble Choice lineup has something for everyone and you can get every one of them if you desire but the offer lasts until the end of this month.

This costs $14.99 per month and you always get a selection of games to keep forever which is rather nice but sometimes what comes in the bundles isn’t particularly appealing to many. This bundle however has something for everyone so you can take advantage for this single month and snatch many games for a discounted price including triple A titles. If you dare to take this opportunity to snag this Humble Choice and try out Etrian Odyssey, let us know how the journey goes and how perilous it is.

Playground Games Confirms 15-to-20 Hour Campaign for Fable Reboot Playground Games has confirmed that the upcoming Fable reboot will feature a mainline story lasting between 15 and 20 hours. Speaking during a group press session at Gamescom 2026, associate game director Will Kennedy outlined the scope of the project, stating that the central questline is paired with a similar 15-to-20-hour block of side quests and open-world exploration. Beyond authored content, the developers emphasized that the title’s simulation and life systems allow for indefinite play depending on player investment. Full coverage of the interview context can be found in Polygon’s developer Q&A. This targeted duration keeps the reboot in line with the structure of Lionhead Studios' original trilogy rather than the massive scale of modern role-playing games. The 2004 original averaged roughly 12.5 hours for its main path, while Fable II and Fable III clocked in at approximately 13 and 13.5 hours respectively. By keeping the core path concise, Playground Games appears focused on density and narrative pacing rather than padding out the experience with mandatory filler. Community reception to the announcement has leaned positive, particularly among veteran players who prefer tightly structured campaigns over 100-hour commitments. As discussed in a active Reddit community thread, many players welcomed the focused runtime, noting that the series' signature alignment shifts and choice-driven paths naturally encourage multiple playthroughs. The game’s optional activities will include property ownership, local employment, and dynamic NPC interactions, extending gameplay well past the main story credits. Following previous delays, Fable is scheduled to launch on February 23, 2027, for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
