Steam Winter Sale 2025

Steam Winter Sale 2025 is now live, and PC players are having the time of their lives with the huge catalogue of games they have access to. A ton of the popular titles nominated for the game awards are actually sitting at comfortable prices. Elden Ring sits at a 35% discount and this is an amazing opportunity to also get your hands on Clair Obscur Expedition 33, which is currently sitting at 20%. There’s so many games to play and so little time to do so thanks to the fact that society moves way too quickly and things keep getting accelerated.

Steam Winter Sale 2025 is big

Balatro sits at a 15% discount, which is pretty much the only discount it has had so far, the fact that such an addicting game is so cheap gives you tons of reasons to just pick it up. If you like games that are hard, or strategy oriented titles, the Mechwarrior series is also on a discount and its worth checking it out. If you have a gamer in your family then this is the best time to surprise them with a nice gift, Steam discount used to be bigger, and while they still exist things are slowly crawling to a halt.

Steam Winter Sale 2025 isn’t lasting forever, so you gotta be quick and get your hands in some nice offers. If you want some recommendations, Deltarune is a game you should get your hands on, and while it isn’t complete yet it is clear that it will shake up the world of gaming as we know it. Kenshi is also sitting at a 60% discount, and exploring the world of that game via strategy and management gameplay is an amazing thing to do. Perhaps you can leave your recommendations in the comments of what to get on Steam Winter Sale 2025.

Playground Games Confirms 15-to-20 Hour Campaign for Fable Reboot Playground Games has confirmed that the upcoming Fable reboot will feature a mainline story lasting between 15 and 20 hours. Speaking during a group press session at Gamescom 2026, associate game director Will Kennedy outlined the scope of the project, stating that the central questline is paired with a similar 15-to-20-hour block of side quests and open-world exploration. Beyond authored content, the developers emphasized that the title’s simulation and life systems allow for indefinite play depending on player investment. Full coverage of the interview context can be found in Polygon’s developer Q&A. This targeted duration keeps the reboot in line with the structure of Lionhead Studios' original trilogy rather than the massive scale of modern role-playing games. The 2004 original averaged roughly 12.5 hours for its main path, while Fable II and Fable III clocked in at approximately 13 and 13.5 hours respectively. By keeping the core path concise, Playground Games appears focused on density and narrative pacing rather than padding out the experience with mandatory filler. Community reception to the announcement has leaned positive, particularly among veteran players who prefer tightly structured campaigns over 100-hour commitments. As discussed in a active Reddit community thread, many players welcomed the focused runtime, noting that the series' signature alignment shifts and choice-driven paths naturally encourage multiple playthroughs. The game’s optional activities will include property ownership, local employment, and dynamic NPC interactions, extending gameplay well past the main story credits. Following previous delays, Fable is scheduled to launch on February 23, 2027, for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
