No Rest for the Wicked

No Rest for the Wicked is shaping up to be amazing, and the current update has been shown to us in a new trailer that does not cease to amaze. For those people who are starving for a new isometric RPG that isn’t merely just a Diablo clone, I believe its time to jump in with a friend because its just gonna get better. No Rest for the Wicked is still in early access phase and it already feels like complete game to some, so I can’t begin to imagine how much bigger it will grow as time goes on and more blocks are put into place.

No Rest for the Wicked grows bigger

This game feels more in line with the idea of Souls-like titles as it is pretty much an isometric representation of the genre. Loot does not make you invulnerable like in Diablo, and there really isn’t such a thing like a build to dominate the entire game, you have to play skillfully. Combat is action oriented and precise, but its done in such a way that it feels new and fresh, something the industry really needs to have. While this game comes from the same studio behind the Ori series, we also have to understand that this studio faced some controversies in the past due to toxic work culture, hopefully they amended that.

They don’t seem to be clear about when this game will release, but it seems like we will be getting a possibility to try it out in January 22nd. The public beta did start today however and there is also some goodies you can get if you buy the game during the early access period. If you wanna try something new and that feels like a breath of fresh air, you should really check out No Rest For The Wicked.
