Bradley the Badger

Bradley the Badger might be a resurrection of the mascot platformer genre, something quite unexpected for the PC scene. This new mascot platformer starring the first furry badger to appear in a video game is quite crazy in concept. Use your game developer powers to open your way through abandoned and discarded game worlds, in an attempt to make Bradley’s world come back. Being yanked from reality while he was sleeping Bradley the Badger finds himself stranded far from his home, and his friends are also lost too. If you think you can help him, perhaps you should try to do so.

Bradley the Badger looks interesting

Along with the new Mega Man game, Bradley the Badger seems quite promising as the main feature is trying to make your way through abandoned levels from different parodies to games that exist such as Bloodborne. To do so you can use your development kit to create assets, platforms and pretty much edit the level in any way you want. This provides an amazing depth of gameplay similar to the one provided by Donkey Kong Bananza which is one of the most groundbreaking games of the moment if you ask me.

By using your developer powers, you can also restore the old glory of that level coming from a game stuck in development hell, but its up to you on attempting to do so. Your main task is to save your homeland and find your friends, so don’t get too crazy trying to shape the world in any way you like despite you having the power to do so, or maybe do if you want. The Game Awards 2025 wasn’t the best, but reveals like this are what makes the show worth it, if you are interested in trying out this new game you can wishlist it on Steam.

Playground Games Confirms 15-to-20 Hour Campaign for Fable Reboot Playground Games has confirmed that the upcoming Fable reboot will feature a mainline story lasting between 15 and 20 hours. Speaking during a group press session at Gamescom 2026, associate game director Will Kennedy outlined the scope of the project, stating that the central questline is paired with a similar 15-to-20-hour block of side quests and open-world exploration. Beyond authored content, the developers emphasized that the title’s simulation and life systems allow for indefinite play depending on player investment. Full coverage of the interview context can be found in Polygon’s developer Q&A. This targeted duration keeps the reboot in line with the structure of Lionhead Studios' original trilogy rather than the massive scale of modern role-playing games. The 2004 original averaged roughly 12.5 hours for its main path, while Fable II and Fable III clocked in at approximately 13 and 13.5 hours respectively. By keeping the core path concise, Playground Games appears focused on density and narrative pacing rather than padding out the experience with mandatory filler. Community reception to the announcement has leaned positive, particularly among veteran players who prefer tightly structured campaigns over 100-hour commitments. As discussed in a active Reddit community thread, many players welcomed the focused runtime, noting that the series' signature alignment shifts and choice-driven paths naturally encourage multiple playthroughs. The game’s optional activities will include property ownership, local employment, and dynamic NPC interactions, extending gameplay well past the main story credits. Following previous delays, Fable is scheduled to launch on February 23, 2027, for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
