Wandfall gets an amazing demo on Steam in 2025

Wandfall got a new demo on PC and players are very excited to play a new take in Vampire Survivors. This new game is clearly inspired by the success of the popular game by poncle, and plans to capitalize on the fact that the genre is still prime. By doing its own ideas, this new game attempts to separate itself from the crowd who directly copies the game without much going on. There is something very special that will happen with the demo and those who play it, so if you are very good at games, you can stick out with these news for a bit more.

Wandfall demo gets something more

A contest was announced by the developer of the game, and it will end in November 18th. Whoever manages to stay on the top 3 of the Scoreboard in the demo will get access to the game for free. This is clearly a tactic to gain more engagement from players who might not want to check out the demo, as the market is already flooded with tons of things to try out and enjoy. When you are given many options you often pick nothing and stay still. This can actually help the game win more recognition if it goes well.

Wandfall is coming soon, but we don’t really know when the game will drop, and the developer is clearly testing it by making this limited time event a thing in the first place. For fans of the Vampire Survivors genre, you should really check this one out as it seems to have a different flavor than your average clone, trying to add some variety to the thing that already works to stand out has always been a key to success for many games. It seems that the developers of Wandfall understand this well enough.

Playground Games Confirms 15-to-20 Hour Campaign for Fable Reboot Playground Games has confirmed that the upcoming Fable reboot will feature a mainline story lasting between 15 and 20 hours. Speaking during a group press session at Gamescom 2026, associate game director Will Kennedy outlined the scope of the project, stating that the central questline is paired with a similar 15-to-20-hour block of side quests and open-world exploration. Beyond authored content, the developers emphasized that the title’s simulation and life systems allow for indefinite play depending on player investment. Full coverage of the interview context can be found in Polygon’s developer Q&A. This targeted duration keeps the reboot in line with the structure of Lionhead Studios' original trilogy rather than the massive scale of modern role-playing games. The 2004 original averaged roughly 12.5 hours for its main path, while Fable II and Fable III clocked in at approximately 13 and 13.5 hours respectively. By keeping the core path concise, Playground Games appears focused on density and narrative pacing rather than padding out the experience with mandatory filler. Community reception to the announcement has leaned positive, particularly among veteran players who prefer tightly structured campaigns over 100-hour commitments. As discussed in a active Reddit community thread, many players welcomed the focused runtime, noting that the series' signature alignment shifts and choice-driven paths naturally encourage multiple playthroughs. The game’s optional activities will include property ownership, local employment, and dynamic NPC interactions, extending gameplay well past the main story credits. Following previous delays, Fable is scheduled to launch on February 23, 2027, for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
