New Fix Makes AdHoc Studio’s Dispatch Platinum Achievable

AdHoc Studio has released an important update for its popular choice-driven game, Dispatch. This update finally fixes a long-standing issue that prevented dedicated PlayStation players from earning the sought-after Platinum Trophy. The patch, released on November 19, specifically addresses the problematic “H4ck3d by R0b3rt” trophy, which many players found frustratingly unattainable. Despite their efforts to meet the challenging completion criteria, they could not earn the trophy. This prompt action tackles a significant point of frustration within the community since the game launched successfully.

This fix is crucial for players who want to complete everything the game offers. The “H4ck3d by R0b3rt” trophy rewards total mastery, requiring players to finish every hacking segment in the episodic story without any failures. When this key achievement was bugged, it blocked progress toward the final Platinum reward, disappointing those who spent time trying to achieve perfect playthroughs. AdHoc Studio confirmed that players who already met the requirements will see the trophy unlock automatically when they load their save file after the update, making sure their efforts are finally recognized.

Since its release, Dispatch has gained significant attention and praise for its engaging story, well-developed characters, and meaningful choice-based gameplay. The game’s reputation has also been boosted by its impressive voice cast, including Aaron Paul and Laura Bailey, and its nomination for Best Debut Indie Game at the upcoming 2025 Game Awards. This positive feedback highlights the need for developers to offer strong support after launch. AdHoc Studio clearly shows its commitment by addressing major technical issues that affect player enjoyment.

In addition to the important Platinum fix, the latest update includes several other technical improvements. These enhancements resolve a problem with the “Min Max” achievement, which previously did not unlock correctly when a hero’s stat reached level 10. The studio also added protections against potential save data corruption and accidental deletion, along with various small crash fixes and adjustments to outcomes in the later episodes. With all eight episodes now fully available and major technical issues being dealt with promptly, attention is shifting to the possibility of a second season. AdHoc Studio co-founder Pierre Shorette has publicly stated that this possibility remains open due to the strong performance of the first season. You can find the full patch notes for the Dispatch update on Game Rant.

Playground Games Confirms 15-to-20 Hour Campaign for Fable Reboot Playground Games has confirmed that the upcoming Fable reboot will feature a mainline story lasting between 15 and 20 hours. Speaking during a group press session at Gamescom 2026, associate game director Will Kennedy outlined the scope of the project, stating that the central questline is paired with a similar 15-to-20-hour block of side quests and open-world exploration. Beyond authored content, the developers emphasized that the title’s simulation and life systems allow for indefinite play depending on player investment. Full coverage of the interview context can be found in Polygon’s developer Q&A. This targeted duration keeps the reboot in line with the structure of Lionhead Studios' original trilogy rather than the massive scale of modern role-playing games. The 2004 original averaged roughly 12.5 hours for its main path, while Fable II and Fable III clocked in at approximately 13 and 13.5 hours respectively. By keeping the core path concise, Playground Games appears focused on density and narrative pacing rather than padding out the experience with mandatory filler. Community reception to the announcement has leaned positive, particularly among veteran players who prefer tightly structured campaigns over 100-hour commitments. As discussed in a active Reddit community thread, many players welcomed the focused runtime, noting that the series' signature alignment shifts and choice-driven paths naturally encourage multiple playthroughs. The game’s optional activities will include property ownership, local employment, and dynamic NPC interactions, extending gameplay well past the main story credits. Following previous delays, Fable is scheduled to launch on February 23, 2027, for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
