Mount and Blade 2 Bannerlord is an amazing PC game for those who seek to recreate epic battles of the past. A new update has released for the popular title, and it brings along some huge changes that will reshape the way you play the game. For starters, there has been some minor re-balancing done to the whole structure of the game, such as adding fast mode. There’s a ton of new things to explore which is amazing as it pretty much feels like getting a whole new game for free. Based on the fact that you can navigate, new units, lands, and even art has been made to feel aesthetically representing of Mediterranean cultures.

Mount and Blade 2 Bannerlord goes big

Sailing will be crucial in this new update, as a ton of new content regarding navigation has been added, specifically the most awaited naval battles that people have been wanting for a while now. The amount of things to do has multiplied on an insane scale never seen before in a Mount and Blade 2 Bannerlord update, and fans are very happy to experience this free of charge. For those curious about Mount and Blade 2 Bannerlord, this game is the best iteration of the series so far, as it allows you to make epic battles with tons of realism to them.

For those who like historically precise simulators, this is a game to check out, and with the new Naval Warfare update there’s more content available for such a good price. One thing to not is that Mount and Blade 2 Bannerlord currently sits at a huge discount, 50% to be precise, so this is the perfect chance to jump into it and get some pirate action going. This game is a must for history buffs who want to see some action happening in the battlefields of the past.

Playground Games Confirms 15-to-20 Hour Campaign for Fable Reboot Playground Games has confirmed that the upcoming Fable reboot will feature a mainline story lasting between 15 and 20 hours. Speaking during a group press session at Gamescom 2026, associate game director Will Kennedy outlined the scope of the project, stating that the central questline is paired with a similar 15-to-20-hour block of side quests and open-world exploration. Beyond authored content, the developers emphasized that the title’s simulation and life systems allow for indefinite play depending on player investment. Full coverage of the interview context can be found in Polygon’s developer Q&A. This targeted duration keeps the reboot in line with the structure of Lionhead Studios' original trilogy rather than the massive scale of modern role-playing games. The 2004 original averaged roughly 12.5 hours for its main path, while Fable II and Fable III clocked in at approximately 13 and 13.5 hours respectively. By keeping the core path concise, Playground Games appears focused on density and narrative pacing rather than padding out the experience with mandatory filler. Community reception to the announcement has leaned positive, particularly among veteran players who prefer tightly structured campaigns over 100-hour commitments. As discussed in a active Reddit community thread, many players welcomed the focused runtime, noting that the series' signature alignment shifts and choice-driven paths naturally encourage multiple playthroughs. The game’s optional activities will include property ownership, local employment, and dynamic NPC interactions, extending gameplay well past the main story credits. Following previous delays, Fable is scheduled to launch on February 23, 2027, for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
