Doom The Dark Ages

DOOM The Dark Ages has been quite the amazing entry according to many. It might have Denuvo in it, which can harm the performance of a ton of gaming PCs, but for the current price this seems like a purchase that makes sense. More games need to have this sale strategy to capture the interest of more people, and DOOM The Dark Ages managed to set the pace in this race. Nowadays, many games compete on grabbing the attention of players, because there’s a ton of options out there that truly dull the sense when you think about it.

DOOM The Dark Ages is on sale

This sale is big, games are very expensive nowadays and I feel like people should go and buy them when the price is right such as this moment. Thankfully this game is worth every cent spent on it, as it is pretty much more DOOM goodness that everyone knows and loves. If you want to kick demon butt, this is the game for you, since you are sent back in time to do so in this new entry of the DOOM series. DOOM The Dark Ages brings a new arsenal of melee weaponry that feels satisfying to use, shield bashing enemies and goring them away feels as powerful if not more than the other games.

The lore is also pristine, along with the soundtrack that has tons of effort put behind it, the world is as dark as ever and it even rivals with grimness against previous entries in the series. This is the best opportunity to grab the game, so if you are interested do so right now because it won’t be forever. This offer is ending soon in December 2nd, so it can be an amazing gift for a gamer in your family. If you can’t do it, at least put DOOM The Dark Ages in your wishlist.

Playground Games Confirms 15-to-20 Hour Campaign for Fable Reboot Playground Games has confirmed that the upcoming Fable reboot will feature a mainline story lasting between 15 and 20 hours. Speaking during a group press session at Gamescom 2026, associate game director Will Kennedy outlined the scope of the project, stating that the central questline is paired with a similar 15-to-20-hour block of side quests and open-world exploration. Beyond authored content, the developers emphasized that the title’s simulation and life systems allow for indefinite play depending on player investment. Full coverage of the interview context can be found in Polygon’s developer Q&A. This targeted duration keeps the reboot in line with the structure of Lionhead Studios' original trilogy rather than the massive scale of modern role-playing games. The 2004 original averaged roughly 12.5 hours for its main path, while Fable II and Fable III clocked in at approximately 13 and 13.5 hours respectively. By keeping the core path concise, Playground Games appears focused on density and narrative pacing rather than padding out the experience with mandatory filler. Community reception to the announcement has leaned positive, particularly among veteran players who prefer tightly structured campaigns over 100-hour commitments. As discussed in a active Reddit community thread, many players welcomed the focused runtime, noting that the series' signature alignment shifts and choice-driven paths naturally encourage multiple playthroughs. The game’s optional activities will include property ownership, local employment, and dynamic NPC interactions, extending gameplay well past the main story credits. Following previous delays, Fable is scheduled to launch on February 23, 2027, for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
