Cleared Hot

Cleared Hot is as retro as a game on PC can get, at least from what the trailer can show us. It has been currently released as an early access title and it draws a ton from classic MegaDrive games of the past. This genre of games is under explored and there needs to be more titles done in a similar fashion to this one. Of course, they should all bring something new with them and not be just a clone. The revival of indie games that look like retro titles is starting to take shape, and the new revolution of gaming is slowly invading every store on PC.

Cleared Hot is in Early Access

Like with every Early Access game, its important to keep in mind that sometimes these games don’t reach completion. However, the game is cheap, each time you buy one of these you are giving the developer a thumbs up to keep developing it further. Also, getting it around this price point feels like a good choice when you want to avoid overspending on something that might not feel worth it. If anything, getting a game for cheap is always a win, especially when its a retro inspired gem like this one.

Cleared Hot has you playing with different attack helicopters, and there’s plenty of objectives that you have to clear per level. There’s a ton of variety for being an Early Access title, and there’s more coming down the road as the game keeps getting progressive updates that polishes the game into perfection, or at least close to perfection. Currently, you can get this one with a 10% discount, which might be small but a discount is always a discount that can help you get other games. If you are interested but wish to look from afar, you can give Cleared Hot a place in your wishlist.

Playground Games Confirms 15-to-20 Hour Campaign for Fable Reboot Playground Games has confirmed that the upcoming Fable reboot will feature a mainline story lasting between 15 and 20 hours. Speaking during a group press session at Gamescom 2026, associate game director Will Kennedy outlined the scope of the project, stating that the central questline is paired with a similar 15-to-20-hour block of side quests and open-world exploration. Beyond authored content, the developers emphasized that the title’s simulation and life systems allow for indefinite play depending on player investment. Full coverage of the interview context can be found in Polygon’s developer Q&A. This targeted duration keeps the reboot in line with the structure of Lionhead Studios' original trilogy rather than the massive scale of modern role-playing games. The 2004 original averaged roughly 12.5 hours for its main path, while Fable II and Fable III clocked in at approximately 13 and 13.5 hours respectively. By keeping the core path concise, Playground Games appears focused on density and narrative pacing rather than padding out the experience with mandatory filler. Community reception to the announcement has leaned positive, particularly among veteran players who prefer tightly structured campaigns over 100-hour commitments. As discussed in a active Reddit community thread, many players welcomed the focused runtime, noting that the series' signature alignment shifts and choice-driven paths naturally encourage multiple playthroughs. The game’s optional activities will include property ownership, local employment, and dynamic NPC interactions, extending gameplay well past the main story credits. Following previous delays, Fable is scheduled to launch on February 23, 2027, for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
