Battlefield 6 is on it’s way to receive a “full pass” to fix all of the in-game audio issues thoroughly and completely, according to the developers themselves so if you’ve been having some of the audio-related problems with the game, you can be rest assured that all of them will get permanently resolved pretty soon.
Florian Le Bihan, the principal game designer of Battlefield 6, has recently posted on Twitter/X that they’re working to address the audio issues in the game:
“The entire in-game audio is receiving a full pass to solve those issues, including fixing some issues that caused some sounds to completely cut. We’re still working on it and verifying the changes but hoping we can share more details on that soon!”
In the same thread, the dev also spoke about fixing Battlefield 6’s various mouse-and-keyboard issues in an upcoming patch which will contain multiple changes and adjustments to the game’s control scheme including Class-related keybinds which Le Bihan has confirmed will be removed in the next update as well.
Battlefield 6 has been a triumphant return for the iconic franchise so far and has been the highest selling title of this year in both Xbox and the PC platform and the second best-selling game on Playstation, behind NBA 2K26. EA’s flagship shooter has also become the best-selling title in the U.S in the month of October, while also being the highest selling game in the history of the long running series in the U.S as well.
And while it’d still be quite unrealistic to think that Battlefield 6 can surpass or even come close to the gigantic sales numbers of it’s rival Call of Duty, but for the first time ever, a Battlefield title has not only gone toe-to-toe with their rival Call of Duty title, it has actually managed to pull ahead in several aspects, most notably on the player ratings and the overall player counts especially on Steam.
