Megabonk

Megabonk was another indie success story, selling 1 million copies in a mere 2 weeks. For fans of games like Vampire Survivors, this is an amazing title that PC gamers should give a chance to, as it pretty much reinvents the whole genre in a 3D space. The developer of this one just dropped recently into the industry and they are already making bank with tons of sales reached. It truly shows us that the way of the indie developer can be short or it can be a long path to walk through too, it really is a matter of luck at the end of the day.

Megabonk was a mega success

If you were aching to have another shot at a game like Vampire Survivors, this is your chance. Despite the fact that the popular title by poncle is still being updated and having massive outlandish collaborations with games such as SaGa and Among Us, people sometimes just want to try a different dimension of the same thing. When a formula isn’t broken sometimes people don’t need to fix it, because the way to do things is just following the current of development based on ideas that are already there.

Many times it has been proven that changing the formula of things too much can disappoint fans, yet Megabonk succeeds at changing some aspects to make the experience an unique one that has identity with it. Indie titles are often very soulful when it comes to the ideas proposed, we even have a very cool skeleton dude in it that truly oozes the soul of the 90s when you think about it. Perhaps you may wanna be one of the millions joining to crush some hordes and get some nice upgrades to keep pushing more monsters into the oblivion. Get this mega craze called Megabonk and support a fellow indie dev.

Playground Games Confirms 15-to-20 Hour Campaign for Fable Reboot Playground Games has confirmed that the upcoming Fable reboot will feature a mainline story lasting between 15 and 20 hours. Speaking during a group press session at Gamescom 2026, associate game director Will Kennedy outlined the scope of the project, stating that the central questline is paired with a similar 15-to-20-hour block of side quests and open-world exploration. Beyond authored content, the developers emphasized that the title’s simulation and life systems allow for indefinite play depending on player investment. Full coverage of the interview context can be found in Polygon’s developer Q&A. This targeted duration keeps the reboot in line with the structure of Lionhead Studios' original trilogy rather than the massive scale of modern role-playing games. The 2004 original averaged roughly 12.5 hours for its main path, while Fable II and Fable III clocked in at approximately 13 and 13.5 hours respectively. By keeping the core path concise, Playground Games appears focused on density and narrative pacing rather than padding out the experience with mandatory filler. Community reception to the announcement has leaned positive, particularly among veteran players who prefer tightly structured campaigns over 100-hour commitments. As discussed in a active Reddit community thread, many players welcomed the focused runtime, noting that the series' signature alignment shifts and choice-driven paths naturally encourage multiple playthroughs. The game’s optional activities will include property ownership, local employment, and dynamic NPC interactions, extending gameplay well past the main story credits. Following previous delays, Fable is scheduled to launch on February 23, 2027, for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
