007 First Light

The upcoming James Bond game, 007: First Light gets an extensive gameplay reveal during Sony’s State of Play event along with official release date plus pricing. So first check out the full gameplay video below which will give you a clear idea of the general gameplay experience you’ll get in 007: First Light.

007: First Light will launch across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC on March 27, 2026 which means the game is around it’s last stages of development so we don’t actually have to wait much longer to get our hands on it.

Of course if you get the Deluxe Edition of the game which you can by pre-ordering, it will grant you 24 hour early access plus four exclusive outfits (Day of the Dead, Desert Explorer, Silent Anchor, and Gentleman Operator), a new weapon skin, and the Gleaming Pack (the Gleaming Lighter, the Gleaming Earphones, the Gleaming Phone, and the Gleaming Pen).

The Standard Edition of 007: First Light costs $69.99 while the Deluxe Edition will set you back by $79.99. There’s also an Amazon-exclusive 007 First Light – Specialist Edition which features a unique packaging for the game’s case along with an exclusive original outfit for Bond, the Classic Tux. Movie aficionados will love the vintage touch in this version, that’s for sure.

However, there also exists a much more expensive 007 First Light – Legacy Edition which is available for a whopping $299.99 and includes the full game, the Deluxe Edition content, an exclusive Golden Gun weapon skin, the Obsidian Gold Suit outfit, a Golden Gun Figurine with Stand & Secret Compartment, a Certificate of Authenticity, and a Steel Case with Magnet. Basically it contains the entire James Bond collection that’s designed to appeal to all enthusiasts out there and if you’re one of them, this is the version you’ll naturally want to get.

You can start pre-ordering your copy of 007: First Light right now to get a free upgrade to the Deluxe Edition.

Playground Games Confirms 15-to-20 Hour Campaign for Fable Reboot Playground Games has confirmed that the upcoming Fable reboot will feature a mainline story lasting between 15 and 20 hours. Speaking during a group press session at Gamescom 2026, associate game director Will Kennedy outlined the scope of the project, stating that the central questline is paired with a similar 15-to-20-hour block of side quests and open-world exploration. Beyond authored content, the developers emphasized that the title’s simulation and life systems allow for indefinite play depending on player investment. Full coverage of the interview context can be found in Polygon’s developer Q&A. This targeted duration keeps the reboot in line with the structure of Lionhead Studios' original trilogy rather than the massive scale of modern role-playing games. The 2004 original averaged roughly 12.5 hours for its main path, while Fable II and Fable III clocked in at approximately 13 and 13.5 hours respectively. By keeping the core path concise, Playground Games appears focused on density and narrative pacing rather than padding out the experience with mandatory filler. Community reception to the announcement has leaned positive, particularly among veteran players who prefer tightly structured campaigns over 100-hour commitments. As discussed in a active Reddit community thread, many players welcomed the focused runtime, noting that the series' signature alignment shifts and choice-driven paths naturally encourage multiple playthroughs. The game’s optional activities will include property ownership, local employment, and dynamic NPC interactions, extending gameplay well past the main story credits. Following previous delays, Fable is scheduled to launch on February 23, 2027, for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
