Players can look forward to a new questline and a unique, free reward. This year’s celebration marks another significant achievement for a game that overcame early difficulties to become a leader in its genre.
The event is closely tied to the game’s story, reminding players of the Calamity that changed the world of Eorzea and the launch of A Realm Reborn in 2013. Completing the quest rewards players with the Wind-up Gulool Ja Ja minion, a miniature version of a character from the recent Dawntrail expansion. This makes the event accessible for newcomers and provides a lovely keepsake for long-time players.
As one event wraps up, another begins. “The Rising” follows right after the Moonfire Faire event. The next few months are also filled with content, including a crossover with Monster Hunter Wilds in October.
