Centipede Simulator gets an amazing trailer in 2025

Centipede Simulator

Centipede Simulator might be quite the thing to bring, but it got a teaser trailer, there’s nothing really that impressive at first glance but if you are a nerd of gaming history, you might realize this is pretty much Snake with an interesting twist. PC gamers, if that’s how we can call them, might be familiar with this one because this is one of the first games ever made. However, Centipede Simulator’s twist is that it reinvents the simple mechanics to bring us something more chaotic and appealing despite the simplicity. This game is made as a solo project by the co-founder of Ufo Crash Games, and I think it deserves a spot here on Infinite Start.

Centipede Simulator is coming soon

There’s still no date for when it will drop, as the creator is gauging interest in the game to see what can come off from it. So far, this project has some degree of potential but I can see it getting lost in the sea of games, and even being wrongfully categorized as slop. There was effort put by a single developer behind this one, all of the assets are done by them, and despite them having tons of year of experience in the industry as an artist, it is still a nice effort for a project done by himself.

There really isn’t much to say about such peculiar game, the graphics are on point, and the simple gameplay can prove to be addicting. Instead of static apples like the original Snake game, you actually have to eat crickets that are constantly on the move, this is actually revolutionary for these kinds of games because it hasn’t been done before. While Snake isn’t a game genre, if we look and reach too hard into it, we can just say that Centipede Simulator really revolutionized its own genre.

Playground Games Confirms 15-to-20 Hour Campaign for Fable Reboot Playground Games has confirmed that the upcoming Fable reboot will feature a mainline story lasting between 15 and 20 hours. Speaking during a group press session at Gamescom 2026, associate game director Will Kennedy outlined the scope of the project, stating that the central questline is paired with a similar 15-to-20-hour block of side quests and open-world exploration. Beyond authored content, the developers emphasized that the title’s simulation and life systems allow for indefinite play depending on player investment. Full coverage of the interview context can be found in Polygon’s developer Q&A. This targeted duration keeps the reboot in line with the structure of Lionhead Studios' original trilogy rather than the massive scale of modern role-playing games. The 2004 original averaged roughly 12.5 hours for its main path, while Fable II and Fable III clocked in at approximately 13 and 13.5 hours respectively. By keeping the core path concise, Playground Games appears focused on density and narrative pacing rather than padding out the experience with mandatory filler. Community reception to the announcement has leaned positive, particularly among veteran players who prefer tightly structured campaigns over 100-hour commitments. As discussed in a active Reddit community thread, many players welcomed the focused runtime, noting that the series' signature alignment shifts and choice-driven paths naturally encourage multiple playthroughs. The game’s optional activities will include property ownership, local employment, and dynamic NPC interactions, extending gameplay well past the main story credits. Following previous delays, Fable is scheduled to launch on February 23, 2027, for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
