Euro Truck Simulator 2 gets a trailer to the awaited Iceland Update. PC players who are fans of trucking will be able to enjoy an all new region in the game that will match the realism that Iceland has in the real world. The team behind Euro Truck Simulator is keen when it comes to replicating locations, and in some cases they have done a side by side comparison with real footage to show how respectful they are of the place. Making maps takes a lot of work to do, especially with the level of precision that the team puts in. We at Infinite Start will cover this new update.

Euro Truck Sim 2 gets Iceland

The game has been running for quite a while now, pun intended, as the journey of the trucker never ends until all roads have been explored. For those who wish to enjoy a relaxing experience that simulates the feel of trucking without the risks of it, Euro Truck Simulator 2 is truly the best game one can get.

Iceland has been a map that many fans asked for, and it will be the next one coming according to the trailer, this new DLC can be wishlisted at the Steam store if you wish to show some support to the developers behind it. The blog account does not state a proper release date for it, but they show a bunch of details that the map will have, such as properly describing the geography of the region. It truly will be a fun one to traverse through, and those who love mountains and elevations might take this one as their favorite region ever.

There’s still no price for the DLC either, but we assume that depending on how big the map is and how much content there is, things will get defined accordingly soon.

Playground Games Confirms 15-to-20 Hour Campaign for Fable Reboot Playground Games has confirmed that the upcoming Fable reboot will feature a mainline story lasting between 15 and 20 hours. Speaking during a group press session at Gamescom 2026, associate game director Will Kennedy outlined the scope of the project, stating that the central questline is paired with a similar 15-to-20-hour block of side quests and open-world exploration. Beyond authored content, the developers emphasized that the title’s simulation and life systems allow for indefinite play depending on player investment. Full coverage of the interview context can be found in Polygon’s developer Q&A. This targeted duration keeps the reboot in line with the structure of Lionhead Studios' original trilogy rather than the massive scale of modern role-playing games. The 2004 original averaged roughly 12.5 hours for its main path, while Fable II and Fable III clocked in at approximately 13 and 13.5 hours respectively. By keeping the core path concise, Playground Games appears focused on density and narrative pacing rather than padding out the experience with mandatory filler. Community reception to the announcement has leaned positive, particularly among veteran players who prefer tightly structured campaigns over 100-hour commitments. As discussed in a active Reddit community thread, many players welcomed the focused runtime, noting that the series' signature alignment shifts and choice-driven paths naturally encourage multiple playthroughs. The game’s optional activities will include property ownership, local employment, and dynamic NPC interactions, extending gameplay well past the main story credits. Following previous delays, Fable is scheduled to launch on February 23, 2027, for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
