Nvidia’s RTX 5090 causes cables and PSU to break apart

RTX 5090

Nvidia‘s RTX 5090 is truly another miss from the green corporate giant. Connector cables seem to be melting according to some reports. Compared to other issues Nvidia had in the past, this one is even worse, PSUs are swelling left and right, which implies a capacitor has been damaged and blown. This engineering oversights are causing some severe monetary losses that affect both gamers and even big companies. When there is no trust in the products you buy, you eventually start seeking alternative competitors, and in the hardware world, there’s also options. We at Infinite Start will discuss what happened.

RTX 5090, less power, more troubles

In the current “AI” craze that seems to be winding down after the technology failing to reach “AGI” by 2025, people keep losing money to hypothetical shovels. Nvidia is not dumb, they want to profit of this current craze before it crashes down, and they will do everything they can to keep it afloat. Greedy corporations try to save themselves first before they collapse, so they will do everything to keep that facade on.

The political climate of the United States of America is dire, tariffs are affecting what people consume and despite hardware not being in the list directly, they use imported components. Most GPUs like the RTX 5090 are built in Asian countries, imposing allegedly “AI” generated tariffs on your allies is rather suicidal when you don’t have the means of production.

We can see that product are failing not only due to greed, but because people in positions of power are incompetent. There is no fixes on the horizon, but the only thing that can be done now is try to invest money on more trustworthy hardware. Old is gold, and this will be a standard that will take over as the years go on.

Playground Games Confirms 15-to-20 Hour Campaign for Fable Reboot Playground Games has confirmed that the upcoming Fable reboot will feature a mainline story lasting between 15 and 20 hours. Speaking during a group press session at Gamescom 2026, associate game director Will Kennedy outlined the scope of the project, stating that the central questline is paired with a similar 15-to-20-hour block of side quests and open-world exploration. Beyond authored content, the developers emphasized that the title’s simulation and life systems allow for indefinite play depending on player investment. Full coverage of the interview context can be found in Polygon’s developer Q&A. This targeted duration keeps the reboot in line with the structure of Lionhead Studios' original trilogy rather than the massive scale of modern role-playing games. The 2004 original averaged roughly 12.5 hours for its main path, while Fable II and Fable III clocked in at approximately 13 and 13.5 hours respectively. By keeping the core path concise, Playground Games appears focused on density and narrative pacing rather than padding out the experience with mandatory filler. Community reception to the announcement has leaned positive, particularly among veteran players who prefer tightly structured campaigns over 100-hour commitments. As discussed in a active Reddit community thread, many players welcomed the focused runtime, noting that the series' signature alignment shifts and choice-driven paths naturally encourage multiple playthroughs. The game’s optional activities will include property ownership, local employment, and dynamic NPC interactions, extending gameplay well past the main story credits. Following previous delays, Fable is scheduled to launch on February 23, 2027, for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
