Developer Warhorse Studios has revealed the entire post-launch roadmap including all the paid and free contents scheduled for the upcoming Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 which is set to release on February 4.
Starting in the Spring of 2025, players of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 will get access to an in-game barber who will allow them to customize the hairstyle of their protagonist in a wide variety of ways. During the same time, the game will also get an added difficulty mode titled Hardcore which was also present in the first game and had introduced several modifiers such as no more fast travels and auto-saves during any quests, which did bump up the in-game difficulty in interesting ways. And it seems the upcoming Kingdom Come Deliverence 2 will also include similar approaches towards it’s difficulty system.
The Spring update will also have players of the game participating in a whole new Horse-racing activity in the game, which will no doubt add some new flavors in it’s gameplay and help keep things fresh in the long run. Also, all of these contents will be completely free which is another welcome news for anyone who’s a fan of the game.
Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 will also include a slew of in-game add-ons as part of it’s paid expansion pass starting from Summer 2025 with a new quest titled Brushes With Death where the protagonist will embark on a whole new adventure with a mysterious character from the game. The game’s Autumn 2025 update will see a new quest named Legacy of the Forge, where Henry, the playable character will explore the legacy of his adoptive Father while on a journey to become the master Blacksmith.
And the final update for the game will be released in Winter 2025 which will be called Mysteria Ecclesia where Henry will be exploring the Sedletz Monastery as he goes on a covert mission to help stop a deadly illness from spreading across the lands.
Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 launches on February 4 for the PC (won’t include any DRM), PS5, PS5 Pro and Xbox Series X|S.
