A new milestone has been reached in the world of Steam, with a user breaking the record for the highest account level. This remarkable achievement came at an astonishing cost of over $500,000.
The previous record holder, a well-known CSskin collector named ST4CK, had maintained the top spot with a level exceeding 5000, which he claimed cost him around $500,000. However, this record has now been surpassed by nearly 1,000 levels.
The new record-holder, known as Stasik, has reached a staggering level of 5,960. This feat was first brought to the public’s attention by popular streamer ohnePixel, who described the achievement as “ridiculous.”
According to ohnePixel, Stasik’s account not only features an impressive level but also boasts a collection of high-tier Counter-Strike 2 skins, including the rare AWP Dragon Lore and M4A4 Howl, each worth tens of thousands of dollars.
Interestingly, Stasik’s account also includes stickers that spell out racial slurs, which could potentially lead to a ban. Despite this, Stasik continues to level up, with level 6000 likely in his sights.
This account’s inventory alone is valued at approximately $300,000, bringing the total worth of the account close to $1 million. The record-breaking achievement has sparked debate among the gaming community, with many questioning the value of such an investment.
