Garfield Kart 2 gets a new trailer that reveals the gameplay behind this one, and so far it looks much better compared to the original Garfield Kart. Seriously, the original PC release only became popular because people started to make memes about it, they better make a good sequel for once so we can compete with the bleakness of Mario Kart World. Garfield Kart 2 better not play like another clone, it needs to have an identity of its own rather than rehashing ideas from other Kart racer games. We at Infinite Start will cover this new trailer.
Garfield Kart 2 might be good
Garfield Kart 2 All You Can Drift was basically memed into existence. People bought into the original when they saw big streamer make fun of it and act as if it was unironically good. One could argue that this was the reverse to Morbius, but instead of not going to the cinema, people actually bought tickets and watched the movie. To make fun of something, you actually need to commit to the bit in case you wanna see it fail, at the very least Garfield Kart was okay, but other racing games deserved more than it.
As far as we know, this game will be more of the same, and it will probably reuse the same engine that powered up the original Garfield Kart. It is curious to see a sequel happen after so long, but as it was mentioned before, it is thanks to the power of memes and the internet itself. Back in the day, this would have been completely outclassed by good games because gamers cared about quality, and by back in the day, I mean an era when the internet wasn’t as prominent as it is today.
