PS Plus subscribers can join the Concord PS5 beta this weekend without pre-ordering the game. Sony announced that all PS Plus members, regardless of their membership tier, can participate. The beta can be pre-loaded on PS5 starting today at 6 PM BST / 10 AM PT.

The Concord beta goes live on Friday, July 12, 2024, at 10 AM PDT in North America and 6 PM BST in the UK. Participants will earn a Lil’ Frog Weapon Charm and Star Flare Business Card. However, progress from the beta won’t carry over to the full game.

If you don’t have a PS Plus membership and still want to join, you can pre-order the game or wait for the upcoming open beta from July 18-21, 2024. Pre-downloads for early access are available now, and pre-downloads for the open beta start on July 17.

The beta includes 16 launch Freegunners and three modes: Clash Point, Trophy Hunt, and Cargo Run. The four maps are Freewater, Star Chamber, Water Hazard, and Shock Risk. The open beta will add Area Control mode and the Bone Mines map. Beta rewards include a Frog Weapon Charm, Star Flare Icon, and Business Card. Progress between betas will carry over, but not to the full game.
