While anticipation builds for the next-gen console, Nintendo assures no details will be shared about the new device at the upcoming Nintendo Direct in June. Instead, the event will spotlight the Nintendo Switch lineup for late 2024.

Nintendo also plans to introduce a stream of new titles and add-ons to maintain consumer engagement.

Industry experts are watching Nintendo’s strategies closely. CEO of Kantan Games, notes that Nintendo’s sales target of 13.5 million Switch units this fiscal year suggests significant upcoming releases or potential price cuts.

As Nintendo bridges to its next hardware launch, the focus remains on enhancing the Switch experience, ensuring fans have plenty to enjoy while they await the future console, tentatively referred to by fans as Switch 2.
