CM Punk Makes a Comeback in WWE Video Game After Ten Years

CM Punk Makes a Comeback in WWE Video Game

WWE Games has excitedly unveiled the first look at CM Punk in WWE 2K24, signaling his grand return to the WWE gaming scene after a decade-long hiatus. Fans can expect Punk, whose real name is Phil Brooks, to make his appearance as a part of the eagerly anticipated ECW Punk Pack. This DLC pack, also featuring The Dudley Boyz, The Sandman, and Terry Funk, is set to release on May 15.

Punk’s last WWE game appearance was in 2014’s WWE 2K15. His exit from the company that year was surrounded by controversy. Despite this, his inclusion in the game’s showcase mode meant that 2K could not remove him from the game at that time.

Punk’s WWE comeback was in late 2023, and he jumped back into the ring with a match at the 2024 Royal Rumble in January. His attire in this DLC is modeled after his look from that event. Whether he will have alternate attires remains unknown.

The announcement also outlined the full roster for WWE 2K24 DLCs, including names like Post Malone and Pat McAfee, each bringing their unique flavor to the game, enriching the playing experience with diverse content spanning several DLC packs scheduled throughout the year.

Wrestling fans and gamers alike are marking their calendars for May 15 to welcome back CM Punk and dive into the new, thrilling content that WWE 2K24 promises.
