MiHoYo announced in the latest special program live stream that Honkai Star Rail version 1.1, the first major update for the game since its official release about a month ago, will be released on June 7 and will feature new characters to pull, new events, new story content, and more.
Similar to Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail will follow a 6-week schedule of releasing contents. When version 1.1 releases starting on June 7, there will be two phases of character banners that players can summon, in which the first phase will have the much-awaited Silver Wolf, a 5-star character, Quantum, The Nihility), along with other 4-star characters with increased drop rate: Asta (Fire, The Harmony), Dan Heng (Wind, The Hunt), and Serval (Lightning, The Erudition).
The second phase of the character banner will begin on June 28 and will lead up to the release of version 1.2. The 5-star character to look forward to is Luocha (Imaginary, The Abundance), along with other 4-star characters with increased drop rate: Qingue (Quantum, the Erudition), Pela (Ice, The Nihility), and Yukong (Imaginary, The Harmony).
Additionally, the much-awaited chat system will be implemented upon the release of version 1.1, a free Yukong character (more details will be announced at a later date), a free 4* Nihility Light Cone, a permanent museum area, 1 Main event + 5 events, four story quests for SIlver Wolf, Luocha, Yanqing, and Bailu, and a seven days log-in event (10 SR Special Passes).
Now that Silver Wolf and Luocha are coming within a few weeks, it seems that Kafka and Blade will be the 5-star characters released in version 1.2. Stay tuned for more details.
Honkai Star Rail is now available for mobile devices (Android and Apple) and PC via the Epic Games Store. A PS5 version was announced but no release date yet.
