Audeze celebrates their voice conference speaker, Filter, making Time’s List of the Best Inventions of 2022.
To make the list, TIME solicited nominations from their editors, and online application. The final list was then compiled based off key categories, such as electric vehicles or green energy, and then was evaluated based off originality, efficacy, ambition, and impact.
This is not particularly surprising given Filter was Audeze’s attempt to address growing concerns with work following COVID-19. To do this, Filter was optimized for voice calls, along with boasting advanced Neural network noise-cancellation, supported by Audeze’s planar magnetic speaker technology, in an extremely compact package.
What really makes Filter stand out, besides being around the size of a phone, is the neural network noise-cancellation. Anyone who has had meetings at home know life sometimes happens, often resulting in a wide variety of annoying sounds. So much so one product made it on ABC’s hit series Shark Tank to help mitigate that.
