How Long Does It Take To Beat Rainbow Six Extraction?

Ubisoft has officially launched Rainbow Six Extraction, their cooperative spin-off to their ever-popular competitive multiplayer title Rainbow Six Siege. Teams of three (or less, if desired) will be pitted against the inhuman threat known as the Archaeans across several sub-zones contained within North American locales.

Players will progress through multiple alien-infested levels with one of 18 previously established operators, honing their skills and leveling their characters. As they do so, the question may arise regarding how long the experience will last. While the missions these teams find themselves on have randomized elements, boosting replayability, and there isn’t exactly a definitive conclusion in the traditional campaign sense, we can still provide an estimate for the time required to experience all of the content Rainbow Six Extraction has to offer.

How Long Does It Take To Beat Rainbow Six Extraction?

To beat, or essentially play all of the available content within, Rainbow Six Extraction should take players in the realm of 15-20 hours. The variation in completion time is heavily reliant on team competency and progression focus (ex: completing Studies).

Those able to knock out all three objectives in a given level while also soaking up XP from Studies will find themselves accelerating through the Milestone progression system. Accessing new levels is tied into this system, meaning players who maximize their XP gains will unlock and move through the available content at a quicker pace.

Again, Rainbow Six Extraction doesn’t have a concrete end, as end game content like the Maelstrom Protocol is positioned to keep players engaged following the closeout of the core content. Additionally, Ubisoft has post-launch plans to supplement the launch offerings over time. So the previously stated time estimate will grow in the coming months. To what extent, we do not know.

Rainbow Six Extraction is now available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
